Psalm 17:6-7

Where do you turn when there is no other help, when everything and everyone seems to have turned against you, to keep you from doing what God wants?

God’s Word promises that He will not let us be tested beyond what we are able to endure, and that He will provide us with the way of escape when the temptations close in on us. You can flee to Him and seek refuge at His right hand when your enemies surround and press in on you.

God can be trusted when everything else fails. He reveals Himself as a loving Father, a faithful shepherd, a steadfast friend, a comforter called alongside to help, my refuge, my Savior.

Lord, I’m overwhelmed. Help me get through this. I seek refuge in You. Amen.
