Knowing the Savior and Making Him Known

Sunday 3/22/2026 Devotional

For You, O God, have tested us; You have tried us as silver is tried. You brought us into the net; You laid a crushing burden on our backs; You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet You have brought us out to a place of abundance.
Psalm 66:10-12

Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul.
Psalm 66:16

If you thought that being one of God’s chosen people would guarantee a peaceful, secure, and uneventful life in this world, it would be good to go back and read the Bible some more.

God is accomplishing His purpose and bringing His plan about for the whole world and also for you, His beloved child. His plan and His purpose are always for your good and will ultimately bring you to glory in His kingdom.

It might not always feel like that while you’re going through it. It might feel more like you’re being trampled on, taken advantage of, despised and rejected, burdened beyond what you thought you would be able to carry.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and determine to respond to whatever comes, His way. Follow Him, even when it leads to the cross. It will be worth it all, because what He has in mind for you is far better than you can imagine, both in this life and forever.

Trust Him; follow Him; wait for Him. After you’ve come through it, you’ll be able to tell all about what He has done for your soul.

Lord, hold my hand. Take me through this. Keep me close. I trust You; we’ll do it Your way. Amen!
