Knowing the Savior and Making Him Known

Friday 7/18/2025 Devotional

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:20

The last words of the Gospel According to Matthew are a promise from the gloriously resurrected Lord Jesus. “Look! I am with you, always!”

Not “I will be with you” but “I am with you.”

Not sometimes, but always.

Not just for as long as the Apostles were alive but until the very end of this world, of this age, until the end of History.

So be assured, comforted, and empowered knowing that His final recorded words to you are not, “Good luck, you’re on your own from here on,” but “Look! Behold! I am with You.”

Lord Jesus, thank You for this assuring, comforting, and strengthening promise. Thank You for keeping Your Word, always. Thank you for being with me now and forever, whenever and wherever and no matter how far I go. Amen!
